This room has an wide lectern with a lowered section to the right. On the lowered section, there is the document camera. The touch panel is located on the left side of the lectern, and the cable cup is in the middle.

The touch panel in this room is similar to a general layout. It also has a page to control the room’s multiple displays and an RCA input.

There is also a room 42 overflow option. This allows the display from room 42 to be simultaneously displayed in room 41. Please contact Classroom Support if you have any questions about this feature.

Welcome to the UO Steelcase LearnLab in the Knight Library’s Proctor Rooms. The UO Libraries thank Peter P. Proctor, III and George S. Proctor for their generous support of the UO Libraries Proctor Classrooms. Special thanks also to Steelcase, Inc. for their support of this UO Steelcase LearnLab.

This room is optimized for active teaching and learning. Students sit in groups of four. The instructor can facilitate the class from the “front” or the center of the room. Instructors can project the same or different sources to the two screens in the room.
