Room Layout
This room has two levels, each made up of rows of fixed tablet-arm chairs. The first level has a sloped section near the front of the room, with a tiered section in the back. The second level has tiered seating.
Lectern Information
This room has a height-adjustable lectern on each side of the stage. On lectern #1, from left to right, is a cable cup, a touch panel, another cable cup, and a document camera. A mic station with one lapel and one handheld mic is located inside the lectern beneath the main workspace. Lectern #2 has the same setup, except there are two lapel mics instead of one handheld and one lapel. The ALS devices on the first level are located near the side door on the windowsill, and the ALS devices on the second level are located near the door on the right side of the balcony.
Touch Panel
This touch panel in this room contains a different layout from a standard touch panel. There are three identical sections, one for each projector. The buttons from top to bottom are the power buttons/blank screen controls, an audio option, the input options for lectern #1, and the input options for lectern #2.
Visit the Technology Index page for a description of a general touch panel layout.
Additional Information
- Light and shade controls are located on wall behind lecterns.
- A microphone XLR input is located on the wall underneath controls, labelled “Auto Mic.”
- The lecture capture device is deemed defective by the manufacture and will be removed before Spring term 2018. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help find an alternative solution.
- Assistive listening devices and personal inductive loops are located by each entrance. On the second floor, they are located by the railing.
