Classroom Technology Index
Find below descriptions of classroom equipment systems installed in General Pool and Joint-Controlled Classrooms. Note: to find the specific system and equipment in your room please see Classroom Resource List page and click on your room.
Crestron Touch Panel
Function: Crestron refers to the manufacture who supplies the classroom technology system that is used to control each display and source in a classroom. The touch panel is used to control power on/off the system and selection of which source you would like to display through a Digital Projector or Flat Screen Dispaly such as your laptop, document camera, Bluray/DVD player, or other source if applicable. Additionally, you can adjust laptop or microphone (if applicable) volume as well as blank the projector screen.
Digital Projector
Function: Used to present your media source of choice on a screen in a classroom. Some classrooms have more than one Digital Projector.
Document Camera
Function: Used to present textual materials and small 3-D objects on a screen in a classroom through a Digital Projector or Flat Screen Display.
Wireless Microphone
Function: Used to amplify the users voice. Primarily installed only in larger classrooms and auditoriums. .
HyFlex 1 and HyFlex 2 Classrooms
Function: The HyFlex Classrooms are designed to support synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learning depending on the instructor's delivery preferences. Hyflex Classroom instructions
Blu-Ray/DVD Player
Function: Used to watch Blu-Rays/DVDs.
